BENEdolls© American Folk Art Dolls & Figures are inspired by antique papier mache dolls, these unique figures are sculpted in papier mache painted and detailed. Some dolls have moveable heads, arms, legs and removable clothing. I make the clothes for each doll using tea dyed fabrics, antique or vintage lace and trims.  The dolls have an antique old world quality and their clothes reflect that.  I search antique stores and flea markets for antique doll clothes that I can incorporate into outfits for the BENEdolls. Each BENEdoll has its own look, and no two are exactly the same. BENEdolls are made with great love and are the original designs of doll artist Bene.
All BENEdolls are signed and dated. Each is One-of-a-kind.
